Individualized Needs Assessments
Within the philosophical concept of “Supported Living”, the agency assists each individual and their family to determine unique support needs. A highly trained Support Coordinator facilitates the assessment process which is geared towards realistically determining the extent of daily assistance required to fulfill the person’s life goals. Personal and family interviews are conducted as well as any number of meetings with the person’s Professional Support Team necessary to arrive at an accurate assessment.
Individualized Lifestyle Planning
The agency carefully follows an individualized approach, complete with on-going multiple choices and options, allowing a totally unique lifestyle planning process. According to a person’s own dream and desires, assistance is provided to establish an ever-evolving plan to fulfill particular goals. Dedicated Support Staff
The agency provides an extensive array of orientation and training to staff that have been carefully screened and selected. Since training and evaluation involves the philosophical constructs as to the nature of supported living and desired support outcomes, staff understand and become a vital part of the agency’s mission and success. Support Oversight
Over its more than two decades of existence, L.I.F.E., Inc has maintained the desire to remain a small to medium sized organization thereby allowing a high degree of administrative oversight. The organization's founders remain the principle source of that oversight and take an ongoing and active role in seeing to it that the agency’s mission and vision are adhered to. Program managers handle the day to day staffing and physical plant matters, while Support Coordinators handle programmatic concerns. Working together with Area Directors, quality supports are continually monitored and reviewed.
